Call for Papers

EAI is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation to ensure the safety, comfort and quality of experience
for attendees and a successful course of the event.

EAI is committed to holding the conference in 2021 and Accepted Authors who are unable to attend the event in person will be given
an option to present their submission online. In case the situation prevents the event from taking place in its original location,

Scope

The MindCare Conference is a forum where technological, psychological and clinical disciplines meet. It connects practitioners, healthcare and technology researchers focused on the common goal of technological advancements to maintain and improve mental health. The MindCare community leverages the opportunities offered by digital technologies to provide improved assessment, prevention and treatment of mental health difficulties. We are interested in all age groups, both healthy subjects and patients, and also in extending theoretical knowledge.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee (3 reviews for each submission).

Submit paper

Authors are invited to submit papers in the following tracks:
1. Full papers: 12-16 pages (with references) in length fulfilling the requirements of peer-reviewed conference publications (particularly of interest to computer science and engineering researchers). Full papers should be original work and may not be under consideration for another conference or journal. Submissions should be formatted according to the Springer LNICST Author
Guidelines (full papers). Submissions should be anonymous for the review. Papers will be reviewed by at least three experts and judged on their originality, contribution, clarity and relevance. Some authors whose submissions may not be suitable to be accepted as full papers may be asked to submit their work as an extended abstract instead.

2. Extended abstracts: Up to 1 page in length, including the title, abstract and keywords. This track does not preclude publication in journals and other venues (particularly of interest to clinical and psychological researchers). Submissions should be anonymous for the review.

Both full papers and abstracts will be presented at the conference. Full papers will be presented as talks, while abstracts will be presented as posters. At least one of the authors needs to register to the conference to get the submission published in the proceedings.

Publication

All registered full papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library: MINDCARE Conference Proceedings.

MINDCARE proceedings are indexed in leading indexing services, including Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).

All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:

• EAI Endorsed Transactions on Pervasive Health and Technology (Scopus indexed)

Community Review

Community Review is a service offered to Program Committees and submitting Authors of all EAI conferences designed to improve the speed and the quality of the review process.

Abstracts of all authors who opt in to Community Review during submission will be published and available for Bidding here.
